Matt Mulhollem

Mayor Matt Mulhollem (2018 – present),  (2009 – 2018 Council Member/Mayor Pro-Tem)

A lifelong resident of Archer Lodge, Matt Mulhollem is a husband and father still living on the family farm. After graduating from Clayton High School, Mulhollem briefly attended Johnston Community College before transferring to UNC-Wilmington, where he received a B.A. in history. Mulhollem has served as a Deacon at White Oak Baptist Church, where he is also director of the Royal Ambassadors program for boys and young men. He also teaches Sunday school for middle school-age children. An avid outdoorsman, Mulhollem has a passion for wildlife management and habitat stewardship. He is a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation and the Quality Deer Management Association. Mulhollem is a buyer in the purchasing department of the Tarheel Electric Membership Association (TEMA) in Raleigh. TEMA is the centralized warehousing and purchasing arm of the N.C. Electric Membership Cooperatives. In addition to his regular duties, Mulhollem served as Council representative to the Planning Board and as a member of the Future Land Use Steering Committee.
