FY 2026-27 Budget Adopted
The Archer Lodge Town Council has adopted the FY 2026–27 budget, which includes a 2.5-cent decrease from the previous year’s tax rate of 30 cents. The new tax rate will be 27.5 cents per $100 of assessed valuation.
The upcoming fiscal year budget totals slightly more than $3 million and is designed to maintain essential services while continuing strategic investments in the Town’s future. The FY 2026-27 Budget will:
- Maintain current funding levels while implementing cost-cutting measures in areas to reduce spending.
- Continue investing in public safety and long-range planning.
- Fund the development of a strategic plan to help guide the Town’s future and define long-term goals.
- Modernize meeting agenda and minutes software to improve accessibility and accountability for residents.
- Prioritize road safety by funding the purchase of an additional mobile speed radar unit to encourage compliance with speed limits.
- Complete the disc golf course at Town Park.
- Pay off two of the Town’s three debts: the Town Hall building loan and the Park Land loan.
The full FY 2026–27 adopted budget will be posted soon on the Town website under the “Administration and Finance” page.
