At the September 8, 2026, Town Council Meeting, the Archer Lodge Town Council will consider an Ordinance Regulating Firearms and other Weapons on Town-owned Property. This draft ordinance was discussed at the July 13^th and August 3^rd meetings and tabled until the September 8^th meeting to allow the public additional opportunity to provide comments on the draft ordinance during the regular public comment period.

As drafted, the ordinance would prohibit open carry of
firearms and certain weapons on town-owned property, while permitting concealed
carry with a valid permit. It would also incorporate a graduated penalty
